I am a dancer and creator. I am currently working towards my BFA in Dance at The Ohio State University. I focus my studies in performance, dance film, and dance history. At age eight I began my competitive dance career. In my grade school years I attended Spotlight Dance Works in Chesterfield, Michigan. This is where I had the privilege to work with artists such as Sonya Tayeh, Lauren Adams, Andrew Winghart, Adam Mcgaw, Liz Schmidt, Brooke Pierotti, and Meg Paul.

My summers consist of dance intensives. I have attended Complexions Detroit Summer Intensive, Marygrove College Festival of Dance, Deeply Rooted Summer Intensive, University of North-Carolina Summer Intensive, The Summer Dance Sessions, and American Dance Festival. Through these summers I have gained training from Desmond Richardson, Dwight Rhoden, Greg Robinson, Ray Mercer, Kevin Iega Jeff, Gary Abbott, Nicole Clarke-Springer, Chris Jacobson, Sonya Tayeh, Paul Matteson, Kira Blazek, Joy Davis, Andrea Weber, and more.

I decided to continue my dance education further into college. My choice of education began at Point Park University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. I was honored to understudy in the  re-staging of Missa Brevis, originally choreographed by Jose Limon. Once I transfered to The Ohio State University, I have had the opportunity to have performed in Edward Taketa's An Answerless Riddle and Susan Van Pelt Petry's Trace. Performance opportunities also come from being in the School Tour Company and in colleagues projects. I found my desire to create with film and dance grow particularly at Ohio State. I continue to submit my dance films to film festivals and create to have a larger audience view my work. I will be graduating in 2020 with a thirst of performance and more learning opportunities.

Artist Statement

I enjoy dancing for the vastness of opportunity and curiousness in taking up space. My body thirsts to experience my movement and others. I intend on performing, creating, and learning in the relationship I have with dance. This website is to share my experiences on stage, the techniques that I will learn, along with the film and movement I create. The research discovered in my undergraduate education can be found on this website.
