Moments before "An Answerless Riddle" went on the stage.

It wasn't until my freshman year at Point Park University I found a spark of interest in film. This is where I met my good friend, Adie San Diego. She is a striking mover and technician, but what I appreciated most about her is what she created. She introduced me into the idea that you can share so much more through a lens, create a mood and an experience for any audience with the push of a button. She also got me into knitting, but that's in another blog post.

I acquired my Canon G7X and started creating my own videos in the summer of 2017 when I traveled to Durham, North Carolina for American Dance Festival. I focused on what made me happiest during the day and edited a film to make my audience peak into my life and smile along the way. I enjoy creating these for there is always then something to make and something to share in my life.

I found with my move to Ohio State in August to be very vigorous, as expected. I wanted my first semester to be focused on stepping into the space by myself instead of looking through a lens of a camera. I wanted to avoid the "Girl-with-the-camera" title.

The semester has come and gone, and I am getting back into the groove of creating along with my studies. I hope to keep creating some stories in my vlogs in spring semester of 2018. I don't mind being "that girl with the camera" when I get to see the smiling faces in my stories.
